Call of the Seven Whistlers
A Sonic Prophecy
Audio Environments | Climate Narratives | Storytelling | Immersive Experiences
A trip to Haworth in West Yorkshire inspired this Climate Fiction project, in collaboration with a friend on the MA Narrative Environments programme.
Exploring the moorland, the changing landscape and soundscape, we recorded places, flora,
fauna and sound. We aimed to depict the inevitability and irreversibilityof Climate Change as a sonic piece of climate fiction, as a way to reiterate emergency in climate narratives.
How could speculative fiction help evoke a sense of current urgency shifting our mindset from responsive to ready
